Professor Iain Broom
As part of our knowledge exchange program, the Centre for Obesity Management and Prevention Research Excellence in Primary Health Care (COMPaRE-PHC) hosted a visit by Professor Iain Broom from 24 Feb to 6 March 2014.
Professor Broom is Director of the Centre for Obesity Research and Epidemiology (CORE) at Robert Gordon University. He has been responsible, along with several UK colleagues, for the development of the Counterweight Program, of which he is Chairman. A brief description of Counterweight programs is provided here.
The seminars, master classes and policy roundtables presented by Professor Broom in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide are now completed. Seminar presentations are provided below.
