Health literacy for weight management in obese Arabic- speaking migrants in primary health care

This is a PhD study nested within the BMWGP trial. The overall aim of this research is to explore how ethnicity modifies the effect of interventions for improving health literacy for weight management in Arabic-speaking migrants. The PhD study will use a phenomenological approach and a collective case study, combining quantitative and qualitative data to explore and understand how ethnicity modifies the effect of improving health literacy for weight management in Arabic- speaking migrants. This study is underpinned by a constructionist epistemology.
